The Westminster Academy Band program under the direction of Mr. Jeff Carroll consists of over one hundred active Junior and Senior High school musicians.
Each Academic year the band program maintains a schedule of over twenty five performances. Performances range in varity from local school and community service concerts to church services and performance tours.
Past performances highlights include:
Concert tour to Merida, Mexico
Concert tour to Quito, Ecuador
Concert tour to Honduras
Concert tour to Colorado
Concert tour to Washington D.C.
Performances at: Six Flags over Georgia, Walt Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, Busch Gardens, Stone Mountain, Georgia and aboard Carnival Cruise Lines.
In addition to these performances the band program has produced seven recordings, appeared on the national TV program "The Coral Ridge Hour" performed at "Focus on the Family", performed a live world-wide radio broadcast on HCJB and has had the opportunity to play for past Presidents and Vice Presidents of the United States.
The Westminster Academy Concert Band maintains an active outreach to the communiuty through their performances. |
