| The Middle School Chorus received straight "Superiors" at Districts! 140 students performed at the Middle School Music Performance Assessment on April 7, 2005. These are the highest scores that you may attain. Congratulations! The Westminster Academy Senior High Honor Choirs attended a National Music Festival In Orlando (May 8 and 9) and the Honor Choir and Women's Choir took 1st place in their catagories and recieved "SUPERIOR" scores! The Honor Choir also received the Grand Champion Trophy for having the highest scores for concert choir, band and orchestra, and both choirs received the Sweepstakes Trophy for having two groups at the festival and both groups recieved the highest scores as well as SUPERIOR marks. One of the judges invited them to perform at Carnegie Hall next year under his direction. They will premiere a new work for choir and orchestra. |
