5:00 p.m. Long Jump, Shot Put, Pole Vault, High Jump, and 1600 Meter Run
5:30 p.m. Discus and 100 Meter Dash
6:00 p.m. 100/110 Meter Hurdles
6:30 p.m. 400 Meters
7:00 p.m. 800 Meters
Meet Rules:
These are the only events contested, no relays
Unlimited team entries in each event, but….
Athletes may run in only one running event
Athletes may compete in only one field event, with the exception of the shot/discus combination
Athletes may run one running event and perform in one field event
No awards, but an entry fee of $30 per school will help defray expenses for starter, clerk, technology, etc. Fee can be waived if a school volunteers to completely staff the working of a field event.
This will be a "show and compete" "time trial" opportunity meet, with no advanced entries, and no individual names recorded (in running events). No team score will be kept. In sprint events, coaches will pick lane entry assignment cards at the coaches meeting just prior to the meet, athletes will be timed and results recorded by heat and lane assignment. In distance races, athletes will be given heat and place cards in a finish chute; results will be posted by heat and place.
