The Sonshine Harbor Family Book Fair will be held in the Elementary Library/Media Center from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from October 31 through November 3, 2006. A wonderful selection of items from Christian Publishing companies will be available for student, faculty, and staff to purchase. The profits from this book fair supplement classroom collections and update Christian books owned by the Elementary Library/Media Center. |

| Thursday night, October 21, 2004, was an event to remember. Boys in grades two to five had a wonderful time solving puzzles and mysteries in the center with guest author, Sigmund Brouwer. Fathers were challenged to allow their sons to follow their dreams in a touching presentation by Mr. Brouwer. Fun, prizes, refreshment rounded out the evening! |

| On Friday night, January 24th, kindergarten through third grade girls and their mothers came to school dressed in their "jammies" for our Midwinter Pajama Party. The ladies read their favorite books together to the sounds of beautiful lullabies. A guest appearance was made by Amelia Bedelia to the delight of all. After a snack of cookies and hot chocolate, more snuggles and stories were enjoyed by all. |

| "It's a Classic!" is the theme of our wonderful, multidisciplinary Literary Festival to be held in the halls of the elementary school on May 8 & 9, 2007. Creative displays prepared by each elementary classroom will transform our school into a literary paradise for all to enjoy! |
