Florida law requires that every child entering a public or nonpublic school in Florida be inoculated in compliance with the schedule found here. Mandatory inoculations have caused some debate due to reported negative reactions from inoculations, especially among young children. The state law does allow a parent to make an independent vaccination decision for themselves and their children, but only through an official letter of exemption.
