Horatio Alger Association Scholarship Program
Requirements: •Enrolled full time as a high school senior, progressing normally toward graduation in spring/summer of 2008, with plans to enter a college in the United States no later than the fall following graduation.
•Intend to pursue a bachelor's degree at an accredited institution (students may start their studies at a two-year institution and then transfer to a four-year institution).
•Critical financial need, preferably $50,000 or lower adjusted gross income per family.
•Involvment in co-curricular and community service activities.
•Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0.
•US citizen or permanent resident. Students must reside in the US.
•Students may apply beginning June 1-October 30.
•Faxes/e-mails will not be accepted.

Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation
Requirements: Students who demonstrate: Leadership, commitment to community, and academic achievement.

Amount: $1.8 million is awarded annually to 250 students.

Wendy's High School Heisman Scholarship Athletics Citizenship
Requirements:Male and female seniors who exhibit excellence in the classroom, on the field and within their communities. Eligibility for application is limited exclusively to men and women entering their senior year of high school in the 2007-2008 academic year who have at least a "B" grade average and participate in at least one of the 32 sports officially sanctioned by the National Federation of State High Schools. We want to hear from ALL student-athletes who work hard, are dedicated, and have become role models for your school's underclassmen.

2007 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards
Requirements:•Applicant's must be individuals enroled in grades 5-12. Groups and partners are not eligible.
•Must be a legal resident of one of the 50 states of the United States or the District of Columbia.
•Must describe a volunteer community service activity performed at least in part after September 1, 2006.
•Not be employees of NASSP, Scholarship America, Prudential or its affiliates; thier children; or provious National Honorees. Previous State Honorees are eligible only if their submitted activities are significantly different from previously honored activities. (Additional requirements posted on website.)

The Financial Planning Association of Broward County College Scholarship
Two Awards: $1,500 to a High School Senior and $1,500 to an Undergraduate College Student

Eligiblity
Any high school senior or undergraduate college student attending an educational institution within Broward County, Palm Beach County, or Miami-Dade County, Florida.
