| Homecoming night was a wonderful celebration. More than 4,000 students, parents, alumni, and friends flooded the stadium with anticipation for a night of great fellowship and lots of excitement. Hundreds of alumni came home and fellowshiped with childhood friends and former teachers in a special tented area where they enjoyed a free pig roast. The homecoming king, Steven Eynon, and queen, Mackenzie Leahy, were crowned during half time. Face-painting and homemade t-shirts were just a few avenues in which the Westminster students chose to showcase great school pride. Spectators could feel the tension as the match-up between undefeated Westminster and Calvary Christians football teams took to the field. The Lions were able to clinch a 35-13 victory which gave them a 6-0 record! Following the game Westminster and Calvary players joined together to praise God for a night of safe competition. |
